Creating a new workgroup file

Create a new Microsoft Access workgroup information file

1  Exit Microsoft Access.

2  To start the Workgroup Administrator, do one of the following, depending on which operating system you use:

  Windows 95 : Run Wrkgadm.exe from your Windows\\System folder.
  Windows NT : Run Wrkgadm.exe from your Windows\\System32 folder.

3  In the Workgroup Administrator dialog box, click Create.
  Enter your name, organization and workgroup ID (enter anything, for example 1).

4  Enter new name for the new workgroup information file, and then click OK.
